David was admitted to practice in 1998 after completing his Articled Clerkship with Portelli & Co. After completing his Articles, David spent time in the United Kingdom gaining invaluable experience as a Trademark Attorney in a large Trademark Law firm. Since re-joining Portelli & Co in 2002, David has been registered as an Accredited Migration Agent, and has an in depth knowledge and experience in this area of the law. He has an ability to be able to relate to his clients and put them at ease. Such an ability has been appreciated. Apart from these particular areas of interest, David is also experienced and has developed an impressive array of clients in many areas of law, including property and commercial law.

Tom Portelli

Tom was admitted to practice in 1964 after completing his law degree at Melbourne University. He commenced practising in 1965 and has been practicing from the same premises since that date.
From the time he commenced practice, he was for a number of years, a Senior Teaching Fellow at Monash University Law School. Tom was appointed as a Notary Public In 2001. Tom has been serving Clayton and the Community not only as a Solicitor, but also as a member of the Clayton Rotary Club. Tom has considerable experience in Wills and Probate Matters, Commercial business (sales and acquisitions) Commercial Leases, Conveyancing (Sales and Purchases), and all property law matters, including strata subdivisions and applications involving the Land Titles Office. Tom also has extensive experience in litigation, including all civil litigation in the Supreme Court, County Court and Magistrates Court.
Tom’s approach is pragmatic, with an aim for a resolution that is the most effective, and the least expensive to his clients. His expertise, experience and knowledge is validated by his large client base, that all rely on his valued advice.
